Biography
It could be said that Connie Conway was born to perform! Her mother still swears that from a very early age if you opened a fridge door she would give you a 15 minute spot.
So she was kept in a darkened room with just a Television till the age of 7 when she escaped to take dance lessons. That was just the start of a very long and varied performing career.
Emulating her childhood hero (Bonnie Langford) she moved into Musical Theatre managing to work with all the greats; Dame Shirley, Dionne Warwick, Ruthie Henshall, Little and Large and of course Keith Harris and Orville. After many years treading the boards Connie was promoted from plain old Mrs Conway to Dame Conway by her colleagues for her services to twirling!
After a brief retirement Connie is back on stage, this time as herself!
